Apply to a ROM pre-patched with Rebecca Capowski, Peaches, and lory1990’s English translation, v1.2. The translation patch also comes with the addendum patches.

Thanks to the hard work of Rebecca, Peaches, and Lory, fans can finally play the original plot of Phantasy Star III. However, it still stands that some would prefer the names they grew up with.
This is presented in three types with additional gameplay addenda.
Choose 1a, 1b, or 1c, then apply your desired gameplay addendum patch(es).
1a. Script Addendum Minor error corrections to Rebecca’s translation. Optimization of item, equipment, and enemy names.
1b. Classic-style Names The corrections from Script Addendum + character, settlement, and consumable item names are restored from the official localization. Tech names align with techs of the same effect in PSII and IV. Restores “Generations of Doom” subtitle.
1c. Veteran Edition The corrections from Script Addendum + the name restorations from Classic-style Names + enemy and equipment names are restored from the official localization. Restores retail font and “Generations of Doom” subtitle.
